Just a little Christmas Cheer for you to enjoy as you finish those last minute gifts!
An Embroidered Christmas
‘Twas just before Christmas
When all through the town
No embroidery machine was quiet
Not one was shut down.
The threads were all hung
On their racks with such care
In hopes beautiful designs
Would soon come to bear.
When from the computer
There rose such a clatter,
I sprang from my machine
To see what was the matter.
My e-mail had chimed
Alerting me to
Free designs from EmbroiderThis.com
They were ready to view!
I dashed to the website
And what did I see?
Over 300 Free Designs
Just waiting for me!
On Kitchen Towels, On Bibs,
On Mugs they go,
On Handkerchiefs, On Bloomers,
On Guest Towels we sew,
On Linens, On Blankets, On Pillows Ho Ho,
Now Stitch Away, Stitch Away, Stitch Away, and Sew!
Then I heard them exclaim
As they opened their gifts
We love them, we love them, we love them so much!
And the best present of all was Your Personal Touch!

I love the poem. I feel like the writer was peeking in my window while I am doing my last minute sewing.
Very creative, read it to my husband proving there are more of my kind in the world !! Happy Holidays to one and all. !
As I read this poem, I’m thinking about the lady at work rushing to ask me a favour (if you have time she says)”May I please order a teanet for my friend for Christmas”? Five days before Christmas and I’m so busy getting the last minute orders out. Working from 8am in the morning to 5pm at night as a credit controller is no joke. And yes the email tinkled and alert me to the site where this poem was waiting to be read. I’m so glad I did as I sew the teanet to be embroidered with blue dragonflies and be delivered on Friday at work for a friend’s friend for Christmas. How delighted her friend will be. I’m glad I can make someone else happy with my handwork.
Thanks for a lovely poem.
Merry Christmas and a Happy 2012.
This was great, however you neglected to mention the devine intervention that gives us the push to continue when, needles and thread do break; for heavens sake it came out of the hoop, wasn’t that a flook I lost registration, the fabric is too thin or thick;, I need to stabilize a wee bit more & I embroidered a test piece BUT no it doesn’t look like that on the fleece. Embroiders we are right to the core because we make it workout all the more, it might take a phone call to the sewing store or perhaps talking to that friend that “knows”! That said — bring on the embroidery machines, jump drives, metallics and all, we are ready to answer the call and thank God that regardless it always works out!!!

This is Great, I did 150 plus “Believe” towels for my friends and family and people are still asking for them. I give them all away for free as gifts, my dear friend took orders for towels and made over $1100.
I am now taking orders for towels, purses, table runners, aprons and handbags, etc. God is so Great. Have a Fantastic 2012!
